SMS promotes the V Symposium of Student Exchange

On November 6th, the International Office of the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of Unicamp, promoted the V Symposium of Student Exchange. The event, in english, took place in the College Congregation Room. Professor Eugene Chang of the University of Chicago and medical students from Germany and Austria. The Prof. Martin Torriani, who graduated from the XXVI class (1993) and held a medical residency in Radiology at SMS - Unicamp, currently professor at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) / Harvard Medical School,  explained his trajectory in the United States through  videoconference from Boston. "The first symposium was organized in 2014, with the participation of students who participated in the Science Without Borders program. Although the program has ended, our symposium has continued", said Gustavo Pereira Fraga, coordinator of SMS's International Office.

"It is an opportunity for everyone to learn more about the possibilities of exchange. We want the faculty to be a facilitator in this process", said Luiz Carlos Zeferino, dean of SMS.

The event was supported by the Executive Board of International Relations (DERI) of Unicamp and the Scientific Directorate Adolfo Lutz of SMS, receiving a total of 52 participants.
