Gustavo P. Fraga, Assistant Professor of Department of Surgery and coordinator of division of Trauma Surgery, and Andrea M. A. Fraga, Assistant Professor of Department of Pediatrician of School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) visited the PARTY (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) Program Headquarters and Office for Injury Prevention, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in Toronto, Canada.
The visit was on September 24th, 2018, and they were received by Shari Thompson-Ricci, PARTY Program Headquarters Coordinator, and Sharon Ramagnano, Trauma Services Manager of Trauma Emergency and Critical Care Program, at Sunnybrook HSC. They talked about the PARTY Program in Brazil, launched in 2008 in Ribeirão Preto, and working in Campinas since 2010, with the Trauma League of Unicamp.
Prof. Fraga suggested to organize the next PARTY coordinators meeting with surgeons and nurses from different countries in Campinas, on April, 2019, with the support of Brazilian Trauma Society (SBAIT).
