The Division of Gynecological and Mammary Oncology of Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of School of Medial Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) is organizing the Gynecological Oncology Symposium - Immunology Oncology in Ovarian Cancer with the presence of an international guest, Prof. Oliver Dorigo, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA, USA. The symposium will be held at Woman’s Hospital Dr. José Aristodemo Pinotti - CAISM, on August 14th, 2018. The registration for the event from 7:30 AM to 12:00 is free at the amphitheater of the basement of the CAISM. (program)

Dr. Dorigo’s current work focuses on the development of novel targeted therapy approaches for ovarian cancer, using cell culture systems, human tissues arrays, and mouse models for ovarian cancer. Dr. Dorigo has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Journal of Immunology, and Journal of Virology. In addition, he is the author of several book chapters in major textbooks.
