Postgraduate Program in Surgical Sciences organized Master Thesis Defense with international Professor

On April 28th, 2022, School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) Postgraduate Program in Surgical Sciences organized Master Thesis Defense by hybrid format. The post graduation student Vitor F. Kruger presented the thesis at the Hospital de Clinicas (HC) Telemedicine Room where the advisor Prof. Gustavo P. Fraga, from Division of Trauma Surgery (DCT) of SMS - Unicamp, and professors Luiz Roberto Lopes and Maria de Lourdes Ayrizono, both from Department of Surgery, commented about the study “Post-traumatic diaphragmatic hernia”.

The international guest Prof. Sandro Rizoli, director of the Trauma and Emergency Center at Hamad Medical Center, in Doha, Qatar, and Prof. Milton Steinman, from Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital, from São Paulo, joined the session by Google Meet, with former DCT residents from different Brazilian states, Prof. Nelson A. Andreollo, and Dr. Kruger relatives.

The study received many positive comments and Dr. Kruger was approved and earned his Master degree. The paper was just published at an indexed journal.
