Olaf Hiort, MD PhD, is a pediatric endocrinologist at the University of Lübeck, Germany. He is one of the world’s leading researchers in the field of disorders of sex development (DSD) and has been for many years a partner of the Interdisciplinary Group on Disorders of Sex Development (GIEDDS) of the School of Medical Sciences, University of Campinas. His visit has the aims of knowing GIEDDS’s clinical service and laboratories and expanding this collaboration. He is also a representative of the European Reference Network on Rare Endocrine Diseases and is currently traveling through many countries to establish cooperations.
