The UNICAMP School of Medical Sciences (SMS) hosted, from July 2nd to 6th, the second edition of Winter Schools (WS-2018), with the participation of 35 students from Colombia, Mexico, Germany, United States, Argentina, Portugal, Costa Rica, United Kingdom, Ireland, Estonia, South Africa, Netherlands and Brazil.

During the period in which they were in UNICAMP – considered by a British Times Higher Education (THE) publication, for the second consecutive year, as the best Latin American university – they were immersed into five different workshops and participated in activities distributed throughout many locations on the SMS grounds and the medical area of the campus, at the university.

A little more than two weeks after the closing of WS-2018, the professors responsible for the five offered workshops share their impressions about the successful SMS internationalization event, organized by the International Relations Office, under the supervision of Professor Rodrigo Bueno de Oliveira. Interrelation between rheumatic and dermatological diseases: from laboratory to clinical practice

“The Dermatology and Rheumatology disciplines offered, for the second time, the Interrelation between rheumatic and dermatological diseases: from laboratory to clinical practice course, receiving nine graduation students from Colombia and Germany, that involved practical and theoretical activities, including a visit to the hospital, lab and face-to-face patient evaluation. The selected cases were cases of interrelation between the two specialties, didactic and interactive.
