The coordinator of International Office of the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp), Otavio Rizzi Coelho-Filho, attended the International Session about “Emergency and Trauma Care” on October 8th, during the Campinas Health - Technology & Innovation Summit 2022. This event was organized by SMS - Unicamp online and at Instituto de Otorrinolaringologia e Cirurgia de Cabeça e Pescoço (IOU) of Unicamp, receiving near 200 attendes. This session received the professors Ileana Lulic (consultant in Anaesthesiology, Reanimatology and Intensive Care Medicine of Clinical Hospital Merkur - Solid Organ Transplant Unit, Zagreb, Croatia), Henrique Alexandrino (auxiliary professor in Surgery, Faculty of Medicine of University of Coimbra), Piotr Koleda (pediatric surgeon from Wroclaw, Poland), Ferenc Sari (consultant of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care/consultant of Military and Disaster Medicine, head and medical director of Emergency Department, Skellefteå Hospital, Sweden), and was moderated by Coelho-Filho and Vanessa Henriques Carvalho (assistant professor of Anesthesiology Department, SMS).

In another session the former coordinator of International Office of SMS - Unicamp, Gustavo P. Fraga, moderated with Mariano Laplane, president of International Hub for Sustainable Development (HIDS) the presentation “What makes Qatar's public health system an interesting example of use of technology in healthcare", with Luiz Alberto Figueiredo Machado Fonte (brazilian ambassador to Qatar), Fabio Caetano S. de Figueiredo (senior consultant, orthopedic surgery, Hamad Medical Corporation) and Sandro Rizoli (medical director trauma, Hamad General Hospital, Doha, Qatar), who participated online.
